The Ilfracombe Dive Club is open for Sea Ilfracombe Maritime Festival, serving tea, coffee and cakes and have a licenced bar for the adults. The club is home to the Ilfracombe and North Devon Sub Aqua Club which is over 50 years old.
Come along and learn about the local wrecks that they dive and about the wild, wildlife living below the waters of North Devon and Lundy. See artefacts, photo displays and films about divers and diving, along with welcome refreshments.

Find out about the mysteries of the deep off the North Devon Coast. There are 720 recorded ship wrecks off our coast, with many more that are unrecorded. They all have a tale to tell and Chris Mandry of Ilfracombe and North Devon Sub Aqua Club, a keen and well informed maritime historian, will be bringing them to life! Hear about some of the ships that were wrecked off our coast from the 1600’s to the 1970’s.

Hear stories of courage and bravado; see artefacts from the deep and find out why they ended their days in our waters!
